I have worked on EDMs for many years now and recognise the benefit they provide businesses and sales team. Whether itβs for a pharmaceutical company, industry expos, community programs or monthly newsletters, well designed EDMs can play a pivotal role in how well the marketing is received and what information is taken away from it.
Having learnt HTML in high university, I am able to build EDMs from modules and customise it to fit the brand identity. As HTML can contain errors, I also have experience with testing algorithms and processes to ensure a functioning email no matter the inbox. I also have experience using MailChimp and similar platforms, often creating more casual communications such as newsletters and program notifications.
As an extension of EDMs, I also have experience with VAE (VEEVA Approved Emails) that are used to create personalised HCP communications that are compliant with the TGA.
Diversified Communciations' portfolio spans countless industries in Australia, helping bring businesses and their communities together through events, conferences and expos. Campaign rollout for each event included an army of EDMs, which I had the pleasure to work on whilst at Freckle & Partners. Occassionally, the campaign required the integration of motion animation in emails to drive event registration. These gave me the opportunity to explore each portfolio's branding in a different dimension, playing with motifs while still promoting registration.

LAUNCH by FBI Talent Co. is a programme for emerging creative teams, committed to providing ongoing career mentorship to student and emerging studios/teams. Targeting a database of creative talent across Sydney and Melbourne, FBI Talent Co. wanted to send out EDMs via MailChimp to promote the programme. Since it is built in MailChimp, the email could be adjusted for a gradual rollout leading up to the programme's deadline.
The email was adapted into LinkedIn tiles of each judges panel, allowing for greater exposure using the social media platform. Another element to push out was a LinkedIn tile for each Judge to boost the programme to their own networks. The design should be kept nice and simple to align with the email and other LinkedIn tile designs. It would spotlight the LAUNCH logo coupled with the judges' headshot, title and agency, with a callout to the partners also needed to be included.
Since the first run of the programme in March 2024, the campaign has been rerun for the November 2024 programme, featuring new judges and sponsors.
